I’m a software engineer and technology enthusiast with degrees in Biology and Computer Science from Charlotte, NC. I'm passionate about creating intelligent, reliable systems.

My interests span from embedded robotics and hardware interfacing to full-stack development.

I love blending software and physical systems to improve people’s lives through accessibility, reusability, and innovation.

Things I Can Do

Some of my career related interests - outside of work I like to lift weights 🏋️‍♂️ cook high protein recipes 🍳 game on PC 🎮 and get involved in local community events 👥

  • Writing code - Strongest in C#, SQL and X++, with a bit of Python, Typescript and C++
  • Learning new skills and concepts on youtube
  • Reading books, technical or not (Big fan of Mark Manson)
  • Taking computers apart and put them back together
  • Exploring everything Azure - recently certified in Azure fundamentals (AZ900) and Azure AI Fundamentals (AI900)
  • Networking with others in the tech space and in my local professional groups

Dynamics F&O Development Architect

I've gone through the life cycle process of data gathering, architecting and coding dozens of features in the D365 F&O ERP system, which include

  • Consolidating and cleaning massive amounts of retail data through SQL
  • Integrating internal and external API's for logistics, warehousing and retail functionality with X++ and C#
  • Adding various local features and flows for different customers/business processes within the Azure ecosystem

Hardware Restoration and Upcycling

I have a hobby of refurbishing and repurposing old computer components - such as

  • Repurposing an old laptop LCD into a standalone monitor and designing a custom wooden housing for it
  • Rewiring a laptop keyboard matrix to a teensy microcontroller and wrote firmware in C++ to convert it into a fully functional USB keyboard

Home server

I run a Proxmox home server (also built from from previous computers) to support my software development work and media projects, which has deepened my practical knowledge of virtual machines, containers, and networking fundamentals.
